CCM Spray Nozzle
Billet or slab ingots are used to cool and complete the process of freezing cast ingots after exiting the copper tube, which is called secondary freezing. Depending on the location of the ingot path, these sprays have different forms of water spraying, different flow rates and different angles of water spraying.
Spray nozzle or spray nozzle for continuous casting of steel ingots (CCM) depends directly on the following reasons to choose the exact size and fit:
1. Size of produced ingots
2. Casting speed
3. 3sp & 5sp ingot type
4. Spotting place in the spray room (up or down)
5. Hardness and water quality
The use of suitable sprays for proper secondary cooling in a continuous casting machine is a must.
And the lack of proper spraying reduces the surface quality of ingots or slabs produced, cracks in the corners and central separation (line rupture) of the product.
Any speed of casting or changing the cross section of the ingot or changing other parameters requires a suitable sprayer.

Sprays are often used in sizes of 1.4, 3.8 and 2.1 inches, and the size of Dubai Spray springs is marked with 4 numbers. For example, in size 4065, it means 4 liters per minute and is sprayed at an angle of 65 degrees.
